Professional Training and Qualification Department

The AWO (workers´ welfare organisation) supports the integration of the youth and adults to the educational field and to the labour marbet since 1995.

Its service includes professional training, qualification, job hunting, organization of language courses and help with the application documentation for the place-hunters. The goal of this Department is to give a high quality service with methodically chosen and renewed tools.

Besides finding a permanent place in the labour market, it has other important goals as well. It deals with personality training for the young people, teaching German language, training and follow-up, the individual´s general emancipation which makes their clients able to become a part of the society.

The very specific profile of AWO is the effective and goal-oriented counselling and patronization.

An interdisciplinary team which is made up of specialists in Social Pedagogy and Adult education pays a special attention to the personality training and skills development.

In order to reach its goals the department cooperates with other AWO services and with educational institutions of the city and region.
